Two different shapes of app

Bevel tries to be the one place for everything your body produces. Recovery, Sleep, Strain and Stress scores sit alongside a full nutrition logger, a strength trainer, an Energy Bank that combines them into a daily battery, and a journal for habits like hydration and screen time. Its free plan covers that tracking. Pro adds Bevel Intelligence (an AI coach that answers questions about your data), Health Records for importing lab results, Biological Age and Training Plans. It also reaches beyond Apple: Garmin, Oura and Google Health accounts can be connected directly.

Body Vitals does one job and puts it on your home screen: a readiness score you can read in a glance, from widgets on the Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy and an Apple Watch app. Underneath, it goes deep on training load — Zone 2, acute:chronic workload ratio and CTL/ATL/TSB — and on long-term composite scores and biological age. It reads Apple Health only and has no account or server, so everything is computed on the iPhone.

Price and requirements

Bevel Pro is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year in the US, and Bevel's help center says Pro can be shared through Family Sharing. Body Vitals Pro is $2.99 a week, $69.99 a year, or $99.99 once for lifetime access.

Bevel supports iOS 18 and later. Body Vitals requires iOS 26, so check your iPhone first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bevel free?

Yes, Bevel has a free plan. Its help center says Free includes Recovery, Sleep, Strain, Stress, Nutrition Tracking, Strength, Energy Bank, Cycle Tracking, Fitness Tracking, Health Monitors and Journal. Bevel Pro adds Bevel Intelligence, Health Records, Biological Age and Training Plans for $14.99/month or $99.99/year in the US.

Which is cheaper, Bevel or Body Vitals?

Both have free tiers. For the paid tiers, Bevel Pro is $99.99/year or $14.99/month and Body Vitals Pro is $69.99/year or $2.99/week. Body Vitals also sells a one-time $99.99 lifetime purchase; Bevel's listed plans are monthly or annual subscriptions.

Does Bevel or Body Vitals work with Garmin or Oura?

Bevel connects directly to Garmin Connect, Oura and Google Health (which covers Fitbit), with some limitations listed in its help center. Body Vitals reads Apple Health only, so a Garmin, Oura or other device shows up if its own app writes that data into Apple Health.

Do I need an account?

Bevel keeps your history in a Bevel account. Body Vitals has no account and no server; all scores are computed on the iPhone.

Can I use Bevel and Body Vitals together?

Yes. Both can read the same Apple Health data, and Body Vitals' Apple Health access is read-only, so running both does not change what Bevel sees.
