Aura quiz: what's your archetype?

Your aura is not how you look — it is the composite signal of your energy, your warmth and how intentional you are about showing up, read by people in the first minute. This quiz places you on those three axes with eight questions and names the archetype the combination projects. It is self-report, so it tells you how you think you come across; the Aura Score in Presence tells you how you actually do.

Question 1 of 8

Pick the answer that is true most often, not the one you would like to be true.

The archetype is a mirror of your answers, not a verdict. Two people can hold the same archetype and be read very differently in a room, because people read what they can see — and a quiz cannot see you.

The three axes

Energy — calm to high. How much motion, pace and volume you bring. Neither end is better; high energy is remembered, calm energy is trusted.

Warmth — reserved to warm. How quickly people feel you are on their side. Warmth is the axis most people overestimate in themselves, because they are grading intent rather than behaviour.

Polish — relaxed to intentional. Whether your appearance and habits look chosen. This is the axis most under your control and, according to what Presence measures, the one that moves an aura score fastest: appearance consistency is the largest single component of the app's Aura Score.

What the app measures instead

Presence's Aura Score is not a questionnaire. It is built from three observable streams — appearance consistency (fed from daily Fit Check scores, 40%), energy and intentionality (movement and follow-through, 35%) and social presence (a weekly reflection on real interactions, 25%) — and it runs entirely on your iPhone. The daily score, save and share are free forever; the Weekly Aura Report is Pro. The photo never leaves the device, and there is no account.

The useful thing to do with your archetype is to compare it against that number. If the quiz says Magnet and the app says Emerging, the difference is the gap between how you think you show up and how you do. Pair this with the first impression checklist if you want the 7-second visual read, or the Presence Score breakdown to see how Aura's 25% weight sits next to Appearance, Face, Brand and Physicality. Frequently asked questions

What is an aura score?

In everyday use, aura describes the impression of energy and presence a person gives off before they have said much. An aura score turns that into a number by rating the observable parts — how consistent and deliberate someone's appearance is, how much energy and follow-through they show, and how present they are with other people. Presence's Aura Score weights those three at 40% appearance consistency, 35% energy and intentionality, and 25% social presence.

How are the archetypes worked out?

Every answer nudges you along three axes: Energy (calm to high), Warmth (reserved to warm) and Polish (relaxed to intentional). Each axis is scored as a percentage of its possible range, and 50% or above counts as high. Three axes with two levels each give the eight archetypes. There is no good or bad result — each one has a strength and a blind spot.

Is this quiz accurate?

It is accurate about how you see yourself, which is useful but incomplete. Self-report quizzes tend to flatter on warmth and polish because people answer as the person they intend to be. That is exactly the gap Presence measures: its Aura Score is built from daily check-ins, Fit Check consistency and weekly social reflection rather than a one-off questionnaire.

Does the quiz store or send my answers?

No. The scoring runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted — there is no photo, no account and no upload. If you tap Share, the only thing in the link is the name of your archetype — not your answers.

Is Presence's Aura Score free?

Yes. Aura Score is free forever in Presence — full result, save and share, no account and no time limit. The Weekly Aura Report is Presence Pro. This quiz is a separate browser tool; the app's score is the on-device measurement, and the photo never leaves your iPhone.

Aura quiz or a looksmax face-rating app?

Different questions. Face-rating apps score facial geometry from a selfie, which barely moves. This quiz (and Presence's Aura Score) is about how you show up: energy, warmth, consistency and intent. For a head-to-head on what each app scores and whether your selfie is uploaded, see the iPhone comparison on this site.
